Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Click the "Register" button on our homepage, fill in your details, and verify your email address. You can also sign up using your Google or Facebook account.
What information do I need to sign up?
You'll need your name, email address, and a password. Optionally, you can add your phone number and profile photo.
Is PataParking free to use?
Creating an account is free. You only pay when you book a parking space. Parking space owners pay a small commission on each booking.
Booking Parking
How do I find parking near my destination?
Use the search bar on our homepage to enter your destination, or use the interactive map to browse available parking spaces. You can filter by price, distance, and amenities.
Can I book parking in advance?
Yes! You can book parking spaces in advance. Simply select your desired date and time when making a booking.
What happens if I'm late for my booking?
Your parking space will be reserved for you. However, if you're significantly late, the space may become available to others. Contact the parking location if you're running late.
Can I extend my parking time?
Yes, if the space is available, you can extend your booking through your dashboard. Additional charges will apply for the extended time.
Payments & Refunds
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments through Paystack, which supports credit cards, debit cards, and mobile money. All payments are processed securely.
When will I be charged?
Payment is processed when you complete your booking. You'll receive a receipt via email immediately after payment.
Can I get a refund if I cancel?
Refund eligibility depends on when you cancel. Full refunds are available if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance. See our Refund Policy for details.
For Parking Space Owners
How do I list my parking space?
Sign up as an owner, create your parking location, add spaces, set pricing, and submit for approval. Once approved, your spaces will be visible to drivers.
How much commission do you charge?
Commission rates are set by the platform administrator and may vary. Check your dashboard for current commission rates.
How do I get paid?
Payments are processed automatically after each completed booking. You can view your earnings and transaction history in your owner dashboard.
Technical Support
The map is not loading
Ensure you have a stable internet connection and that your browser allows location services. Try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache.
I can't complete a payment
Check that your payment method is valid and has sufficient funds. Ensure your internet connection is stable. If problems persist, contact support.
I forgot my password
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and follow the instructions sent to your email address.
